Customer Applications:
Kiosks
Small, cost effective, and easily adaptable. Low-power, fanless hardware is quiet and cool while providing uninterrupted user experiences.
Read some of our customer's stories below to see how our hardware is being employed in kiosk applications.
An ATM kiosk manufacturer uses embedded small form factor mainboards from Logic Supply inside its free-standing cash machines. These boards are compatible with a range of audio/video devices and displays and are easily integrated into existing systems and LCD panels. They are low-power and reliable, ensuring that service calls for system maintenance are minimal.
An outdoor kiosk provider for parks and recreational services requires hardware that can withstand wide temperature ranges, always-on operation, and changes in humidity levels. They employ our extreme environment systems to tackle these challenges. These units are incredibly rugged, can operate in extended temperature ranges of -40°C to 70°C, and feature industrial solid state flash storage, which helps extend the lifetime of the system.
A major department store chain utilizes our compact SolidLogic systems as its point of sale appliance. These systems have a broad range of I/O that easily connects to PIN pads, touchscreens, and keyboards. Because space is limited, the customer requires a platform that can be mounted underneath the counter. The system also needs to be quiet and stay properly cooled; fan noise and overheating are not options for busy point of sale hubs so small low-power units with ball-bearing fans are ideal for this application.
A kiosk solutions company, focused on the admission and events industry, uses our fanless systems to fulfill point-of-service, tracking, and ticketing functions at remote terminals. Offering wireless connectivity, low-power consumption, and a small footprint, these units are designed for set-it-and-forget it functionality. And, with solid state storage devices, system lifetime can easily be extended by eliminating all moving parts.
